RIP The O.C.

I've been going through a lot of transitions myself lately, and was sad to hear that The O.C., the show I've had a love/hate
relationship with for the past 4 years is transitioning off my television set. It's series finale will air February 22. Just when it was getting better, just when they had almost gotten rid of the hang-ups that had plagued the plots last year, they're calling it quits.
I recommend watching the last episodes because as creator Josh Schwartz has said, they really are leaving when they are at a "creative high."

I'll miss Seth and Summer, Peter Gallagher's eyebrows (will they find another vehicle or will he finally use a tweezers?).
I may even miss good old, non-descript Ryan. But the character I will truly miss is Taylor Townsend, she just cracks me up, the writers and the actress have really collaborated to create a quirky character that pops out of the one-dimensional world of The O.C. Here's hoping that actress finds another great role on a more mainstream hit so more people can appreciate her.

Verdict: Catch the last few episodes, even if you've never watched the show before. And don't bother going back to catch up, the show really is at it's best now and it's not like it's LOST where you need to follow each step of the plot. So jump in and enjoy while the surf is up!
